Oh My... Christians Target Obama's Abortion Record

Barack Obama is rated 100% by NARAL on pro-choice votes in 2005, 2006 and 2007.

The Christian Defense Coalition is targeting Obama for his record on abortion and his intention of expanding abortion rights.
CBN reported:

The fight against Barack Obama on abortion has officially begun. The Christian Defense Coalition, who are known to shock folks from time to time, have come up with a new campaign called: “Barack Obama: The Abortion President”. They are going to make clear that Obama wants taxpayers to foot the bill on abortions. They are also going to lay bare his record on abortion. They’ll conduct a news conference Tuesday in front of the Hart Senate Office Building where Obama’s Senate office is located.

Read a statement below from Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition:

"Senator Obama talks about bringing hope, faith and change to American politics. We now see this is all just political 'doublespeak.' One of his top priorities as President would be protecting abortion rights and even expanding them. If elected, Senator Obama would become 'The Abortion President,' with the most extremist policies on abortion of any President in history.

"Senator Obama's views on abortion are so radical that he even wants American citizens to pay for them. This would include Catholics, Evangelicals and all people of faith. He would also expand abortion rights through his passionate support of The Freedom of Choice Act.

"The Christian Defense Coalition will be working diligently over the next 5 months before the November elections to educate people of faith, especially Catholics, that Barack Obama wants them to pay for abortions. This is not a candidate who is concerned about social justice, hope and equality. Rather, this is candidate who will continue the violence and pain of abortion and refuse to end this tragic war against America's women and children."
The campaign is an attempt to set the record straight and the effort represents the broader feelings with many conservative Evangelical groups.

The fact that Obama supports the radical Freedom of Choice Act will cause him to lose much of the Christian vote in America.

Obama has said numerous things about abortion since securing the Democratic nomination but his record shows he is 100% pro-abortion.

what reason is the obama campaign going to come up with about why we are not allowed to talk about obama's position on abortion? will they say we are racists for talking about it? or what? you know it will be something because we are Just Not Allowed to talk about him.

Well, lately Obama's been offering an excuse for his refusal to support the Born Alive Infant Protection Act, an excuse that if believed, softens the impression as not just an abortion supporter, but an infanticide supporter (yes, infanticide). However, a nurse intimately involved in the whole matter categorically denies his claims, calls it Obama's "biggest lie." I truly believe that if her spin-debunking article gets out, not only will this galvanize the disenchanted w/McCain Religious Right, but even many of the Religious Right or heck, even atheists, would be so disgusted to the core, it will cost Obama votes.

    And MUST READ (last paragraphs):
More powerful, 7/2 WND article rebutting Obama's infanticide excuse.
Simply unconscionable--the baby is born, out of the womb, it is alive, and Obama says "if this is a child"!

McCain Wants Roe vs. Wade made irrelevant, but would not repeal it

McCain said, “I’d love to see a point where Roe vs. Wade is irrelevant, and could be repealed because abortion is no longer necessary. But certainly in the short term, or even the long term, I would not support repeal of Roe vs. Wade, which would then force women in America to [undergo] illegal and dangerous operations.”

Was just looking at Obama's beautiful kids and couldn't help shudder at the fact that he is gonna terminate life before it sees the light of day which his own kids are enjoying. This man is going to murder human beings even before they are born. Talk of Satan being a murderer from the beginning. Every person who votes Obama is an accessory to the murder of the most innocent members of society. From the moment of conception a new life commences, and he who takes that life, whether under the forms of medical or civil law, or the stimulus of greed or benevolence, violates a higher law, and, as sure as there is a God and a judgment, that blood will be required of him. All those who are guilty of these crimes, be it in an active or passive manner (indifference), shall NEVER inherit eternal life.

You are not a christian and/or you do not know God. We are commanded to go out and "preach the good news" not support wars that kill innocent people including children to force mans idea of good news.

We are encouraged to "pick up our cross daily and follow Jesus..". We are instructed to "...love one another, pull a brother out of the fire hating the very clothes", to forgive seventy times seventy, to give our second coat, to love our enemies.

Right wing christians arise each morning with their own cross. I can tell that many of these cristians never read a bible or they are blinded by sin. Remember that unbelief is more cursed than sex. Remember that a proud look is one of the seven deadly.

The time is here where judgment has started with the church. It is not judgment of homosexuals but the church. We have "shed innocent blood" and run to many mischiefs. The homosexual nor the abortionists will not be judged on an act but a belief or non-belief in Jesus.

If the instructions of the bible were followed by the church, many would accept Jesus. Also remember what the whole duty of christians ahould be.. Remember "if thou doest not well, sin lies at the door". Wake up christians of America. Seek the lord not preachers.

God is interested in souls which will eliminate abortions and other abominations. Murder is the first abomination and christians call for the blood of people that God also made every day. Shame on all of you. You do not even talk like christians.

Watch and wait because the "season is here". When it arrives, you who have saved yourselves will stand on that record or you can stand on Jesus' record. Stop being stone throwers "without sin".

God used many kinds of men, women and animals. Don't reject who he sends. God used the evil things that we have done to force us to look in the mirror.

Abortion is an injustice. And the Apostle St Paul, in his epistle to the Corinthians, says, the unjust shall not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven (1 Cor 6:9).

In the same epistle, the Apostle clearly teaches that liers with mankind shall NOT possess the kingdom of God (1 Cor 6:10).

Moreover, God Himself says, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind as with womankind, because it is an abomination" (Leviticus 18:22).

Abortion is murder. And the Apostle St Paul, in his epistle to the Galatians, says, murderers shall not obtain the kingdom of God (Gal 5:21).

The following quotations from authors of the early Church also serve to drive this point home.

    THE DIDACHE APOSTOLORUM (90 A.D.):

"You shall not kill by abortion the fruit of the womb and you shall not murder the infant already born."

    TERTULLIAN (150 - 240 AD):

"To prevent birth is anticipated murder; it makes little difference whether one destroys a life already born or does away with it in its nascent stage. The one who will be a man is already one."

    Apostolic Constitutions 7:3 [A.D. 400]:

"Thou shall not slay thy child by causing abortion, nor kill that which is begotten; for "everything that is shaped, and has received a soul from God, if it be slain, shall be avenged, as being unjustly destroyed."

How then can you say that abortion and homosexuality are not great evils? Perhaps sin appears to you to be a small evil huh? Is it a small evil to turn your back on God, and to lose His friendship, for a transitory, beastly pleasure?

Go ahead, then, you deluded and impious wretch who claims to read the bible, and say that they who take part in the murder of the unborn and sodomy shall get away with it.

Go now, and say that abortion and homosexuality are but small evils. At the hour of death you shall not say so. For every sin of that kind shall then appear to you a monster of Hell. Much less, shall you say so before the Divine Judge, Who will tell you what the Apostle has already told you, "No fornicator, or unclean . . . hath inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God" (Ephesians 5:5).

In all truth, you do not profess that TRUE FAITH, without which it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God (Hebrews 11:6). True faith is Catholic, yet you, and all protestants, profess a false faith, the so-called "bible only" faith.

No amount of "bible reading" will be of any avail to you, at that awful moment when your soul shall be demanded of you and you must render an account of your life.

    Dear Catholic or Goddess Diana,

You missed the entire point. "Man's greatest righteousness is like filthy rags".
"If you say that you (as you do)do not sin, your sin remains". "Your righteousness should be greater than the pharisee"
that you are. If you are born again, the ten commandments represent the basics. You should be at the "greater works stage". You may encourage or scare people to become "catholics, the one true religion" as you say but holiness is being set apart with Jesus.

It is scary that you people believe this stuff. Jesus did not talk like you. Again all of you here are under the law. Jesus is the law. If you "love one another" you will not murder one another by abortion, hate, war or any other way. If you love the people that Jesus loves, you would be compassionate. Your comments suggest that you want people to burn in Hell. In the gospel of John, the judgment has not come. When it does, the judgement is unbelief. Of course belief leads to a clean life but only Jesus' clean life and obedience is your access to God

You should want to be "fishers of men". Have you forgotten "that God so loved the world", "that while you were yet a sinner he loved you...", etc. He is our example lady. When Jesus returns, he won't be looking for the pharisees. Despite the morality of christians, they should preach the good news of Jesus and perform the other duties of a "greater works" christian.

You may be a baby christian like Peter. Jesus prayed that he would have faith until his conversion. In this regard, I forgive your subtle hatred of others. May you all know the one true God, his son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. You are the first mean catholic that I have encountered. Most of them, Mary or not, know Jesus and understand that he is the only way to Heaven. More importantly, Mary or not, they sure know how to love.
