It was the first day of classes.
Children were dressed in new clothes for the school year.
Mothers were excited to meet the teachers.
Saying hello to your best friends again...
That all changed when a group of armed Chechen separatists and Islamic fundamentalists took more than 1,200 schoolchildren and adults hostage on September 1, 2004, at School Number One (SNO) in the town of Beslan, North Ossetia-Alania.
Little did the children and parents know what the next 56 hours would bring...

One of the most striking images coming from the Beslan School gymnasium during the early hours after the seige was this shot of a terrified young Beslan boy sitting in the gymnasium where he was being held by the Chechen terrorists. What happened to the boy from Beslan?... The BBC did a follow-up on the boy one year after the tragedy- HERE.
When the school blew up, one of the children was blown outside. The child (pictured above) climbed back into the school to be with her teacher. Shortly after that the roof collapsed.

Family and friends of those killed and injured joined former hostages at the charred, crumbling shell of School Number One, a year after the terrorist attack.
They brought flowers and candles to the sports hall where more than 1,300 people were held captive for three days and where armed extremists strung bombs from the basketball hoops.
The gym is now papered with photographs of those who died there - children, teachers and parents and those killed trying to save them.
334 dead. 186 children.
The trial for the lone surviving Beslan terrorist was held in 2005 in North Ossetia.
One of the 32 Islamic terrorists was a Saudi.
on the first anniversary at School No. 1's gymnasium, where more than 1,100 people mostly children endured nearly three days of heat, thirst, hunger and fear, color photographs of the victims hang on bullet-scarred walls alongside faded graffiti begging victims' forgiveness.
The attack ended Sept. 3 when Russian forces stormed the school after explosions were heard inside. More than half the hostages who died were children.
Today, again, a world prays for Beslan.

yet, as we witness more & more elite recognition of, and literal praise for some of the worlds most despotic human rights abuses & oppressive leaders, not to mention their pro-terrorist stances.. it seems most apparently already have.. :(

ReplyDeleteThe MSM's priority is to make sure a Democrat is elected president, retain the congress majority and take over the senate. Why the hell you think they keep droning on and on about Larry Craig but haven't said a peep about Hillary's criminal fund raising? Ask yourself if Hillary were a Republican what the coverage of her shady campaign fundraising would be like. Yes, it would be wall to wall 24/7 coverage.
They know it will be impossible to do all that if they don't keep a lid on the stupidity spewing forth from the Democratic Presidential candidates while applying vats of lipstick to those pigs on the AM net news shows. They also know that if they don't manage to lull people into believing that Islamofascism and it's use of terrorism to force the west to submit does not exist or is some "neocon christiannazi" fear tactic that they will never win with the Democrats stated policy of surrender, appeasement and submission.
Also, they are losing viewers/readers. The best way for them to increase those numbers is to have another major terrorist attack in the US. They get more viewers & readers plus, as a bonus< they can wheel out their talking heads screeching that "we need to ask why they hate us so" and urging us to submit.
Always remember that the MSM is not in the business to be impartial observers and reporters of the events of the day. They are in the business of propaganda for the LLL's in the west and their Islamofascist allies.
With talk like this, you guys are making me wonder if islam is actually the religion of peace. HMMMM. Is CAIR claiming that these photos are photo-shopped? Oh, yeah, that would be CBS, and Nancy Pelosi.
