Ahmadinejad Mocks the West- 3,000 Centrifuges Now Active

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad mocked the "hegemonic powers" of the West today over their failed economic sanctions.

The Iranian president also bragged about the completion of over 3,000 active nuclear centrifuges.

Western experts have said that if Iran can get 3,000 centrifuges to work smoothly it would need only nine to 11 months to produce an atomic bomb- Daily Mail.

Ahmadinejad announced that over 3,000 nuclear centrifuges are now active in Iran today. He mocked the West's efforts at sanctions against the regime in Iran.
Bazteb News reported:

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has said Iran's nuclear achievements have challenged the supremacy of hegemonic powers in the world.

President Ahmadinejad said more than 3000 centrifuges are active now and each week a new unit is installed.

Ahmadinejad made the remark early Sunday at the inauguration ceremony of the 10th National Congress of the Students Islamic Community in Tehran.

He said that Iran managed to become a nuclear country without ceding concessions to any country.

"The hegemonic powers supposed that the Iranian nation would sit back if they pass resolutions against the country, but Iran made another nuclear breakthrough after each resolution," he said.

"Iran's nuclear achievements have undermined the supremacy of the hegemonic powers," he added.

"We think that this case (Iran's nuclear dossier) is closed, and that only a few countries are expressing opposition to our nuclear activities," he said, adding," We have announced our nuclear victory and expressed our readiness to help the NPT members under the supervision of the IAEA, "

Mahmoud's blessed nuke program is making great progress. (ISNA)

Iran announced the installation of the 3,000 centrifuges back on April 9, of this year.

Hooray! Soon, coming to a major city near you! Suitcase Nukes! Courtesy of the weak and ineffectual UN and the US Democratic Party and Media Elites. We can only hope the destruction will impact them and their families in direct proportion to their contributions to the Iranian Nuclear Jihad!

  3. They are waiting- and praying to their moon-god (who is Not God)- that the Democrats take the White House, and a majority in both houses, in the next two elections. Within 2-3 years at best, the American public will find out just what Quisling and Chamberlain were about.

And Iran wants to be taken seriously as a "regional power"???

  5. The majority of Iranian people don't have any idea of powerful the United States can be if it choses to be.

They can't conceive of a country that has great power that would choose not to use it. So they think we are just like their country, all talk no action.

And they will continue to believe that way until the bombers are in the air.

  6. Something important needs to be pointed out about those "3000 centrifuges."

They are not operating as a complete cascade but rather in groups of around 168 centrifuges. This makes the lead time on enriching enough uranium for a bomb about 18 months rather than the 11 months estimated by the Mail.

Then there is the mystery of whether or not the Iranians have a workable bomb design. You might recall the NoKo fizzle (if it was a nuke test at all) so it's not something you can just pull out of a hat.

Hopefully, AQ Khan didn't sell them the Pakistani bomb design which apparently works just fine thank you.

Bottom line - they are probably still two years away - at least and if everything goes smoothly with the centrifuges - before they get the bomb.

  7. Interesting comment Rick Moran but what if the typical nuclear device we think the Iranians want isn't the only thing they want?

How quick would 3000 centrifuges turn out enough toxic material to make casings for typical air burst explosive devices that could make an area unlivable and unusable for decades?

Proliferation Unbound: Nuclear Tales from Pakistan

[After years of blanket denials, Pakistan's government has finally admitted that during 1989-2003 Pakistani nuclear scientists and entities proliferated nuclear weapons-related technologies, equipment, and know how to Iran, North Korea, and Libya. The Pakistani government's denials collapsed after Libya formally decided to terminate its clandestine weapons of mass destruction (WMD) programs in October 2003 and make a full disclosure of its efforts to build nuclear weapons; and after Iran, in fall 2003, agreed to cooperate with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and provide details of its clandestine uranium enrichment programs that originated in the mid-1980s.]

no longer a secret, might as well operate out in the open under eyes wide shut.. i believe a reversal of denial has transpired.. unfortunately, i think it's working beautifully (for them) so far..
