The Protesters Are Starting to Gather at the UN and Columbia University!
For some reason Columbia University believes it is appropriate to host a man who openly promotes the slaughter of Jews in Israel.
But, the university will not allow the founder of the Minuteman Project to speak on campus!

Ahmadinejad landed in New York City Sunday night.
There was a dinner planned later in the evening on Sunday.
Reportedly, 1500 Iranian Regime supporters were invited to the private gathering.
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad released this statement upon arriving in New York City:
"No one has the right to use force in international relations, occupy others' lands or resort to terrorism. These are the clear stands of the people of Iran and this course will continue," stressed the president.Except, of course when the regime does resort to terrorism as reported today at Iran Focus.
Iranian human rights activist Banafsheh Zand-Bonazzi sends the latest on the developing Mahmoudapalooza in New York City:
On Sunday evening Ahmadinejad had a diner party for 1500 Iranians of the regime’s supporters in the U.S.HERE is a schedule of Monday protests.
It is said that he may be staying at the Intercontinental Hotel in Manhattan, though it’s not sure. Also this evening 60 minutes showed an interview with him that was done with him last week.
Now today from this afternoon on, through the evening and late into tonight protestors have gathered already outside of Columbia University. All of them are against him but a small few say that they think that it’s okay that Columbia gave him a forum because the students will challenge him and they won’t let him get away with his usual evasions. Others are just angry at the whole thing and are there to punish Columbia as well show their hatred for Ahmadinejad.
Tomorrow people will be gather at around noon to continue the protest. Ahmadinejad’s event is said to begin at 1:30 and it will go to 3:00 PM though now I’m hearing that he has only accepted to stay for 45 minutes at Columbia. The questions that people, both students and other attendees (such as the press) will be asking him had to have been submitted and approved beforehand.
The LA Times is calling Mahmoud a hero among Arabs- That's very questionable. It would be more accurate to say he is a hero among American Leftists.
Related... The Iranian Regime is blaming the Zionists for the assassination last week of the anti-Syrian Christian Lebanese politician Antoine Ghanem.
That's a stretch.
UPDATE 2: Ahmadinejad met with members of the disgusting anti-Zionist Jewish Group in New York this morning.
UPDATE 3: Lie #1 for the day: Mahmoud says Iran will not attack Israel-
Fact: Iranian proxy state Hezbollah has already attacked Israel.
UPDATE 4: Democratic Candidate Mike Gravel says, "Let Ahmadinejad Go to Ground Zero."
Mahmoud is making lots of fans among democrats!
UPDATE 5: From Banafsheh- New York Sun reports that the state of New York is considering taking state funding away from Columbia.
UPDATE 6: Mahmoud is talking with the National Press Club- It's no wonder this group's approval ratings suck air.
How many Americans does this regime have to kill before the American Left quits playing nicey-nice?
Mahmoud asked the Press Club, "Why there is not more research done on the Holocaust?"
UPDATE 7: The silly Leftist Ahmadinejad sympathizers are gathering on campus.
Columbia University will not allow outside Jewish Groups or other protest groups on campus today.

He's not an Arab.
ReplyDeleteHe's Persian.
That would be odd for Arabs to hold a Persian so highly.
Dinner for 1500 supporters? So are you telling me that there were 1,500 people who believe that this slug is the greatest thing since sliced bread?
ReplyDeleteDo forget Imjustajollyjihad is a dignitary and each and everyone of those attending supporters would have had to be investigated by the Secret Service to prevent some non-supporter from putting a bullet in his head.
Does that mean that we now have a list of 1,500 people that we should be watching very, VERY closely?
And remember, it was the Persians that once ruled the whole Middle East
Time Warner's NY local news channel has a poll up on "What kind of New York City pass Ahmadinejad should have." While it's still open, vote here:

retire05, I'm with you. This is shocking beyond belief. Go back to Iran if you love A-jad so much!!
ReplyDeleteNYPOST: September 23, 2007 -- Barry Rosen, executive director of public and external affairs at Borough of Manhattan Community College, was a hostage in Iran from 1979 to 1981. He studied Iranian culture at Columbia University.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the Founding Fathers would think of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's speech at Columbia University tomorrow.
They instilled the belief in all of us: Everyone has the right of free speech.
But I believe they'd be in a quandary about this one. I'd certainly like to talk to James Madison, who drafted our Bill of Rights, and ask him whether Ahmadinejad deserves that right.
Ahmadinejad is a reprehensible leader who violates free speech in his own country and cracks down on those Iranians who attempt to open up his repressive regime.
He uses speech to spread age-old anti-Semitic stereotypes in the Middle East, denying the existence of Israel, and denies that the Holocaust ever happened.
Ahmadinejad was one of those outrageous Iranians who took me and more than 50 other Americans hostage for 444 days, violating international law and making us suffer indescribable moments of terror.
There is simply no reason to give him a platform to spew his venom.
No matter how hard-hitting Columbia's president questions Ahmadinejad, the Iranian leader is a winner.
Every word he utters is meant for his radical constituents at home and legitimizes his standing among other dictators like Venezuela's Hugo Chavez.
It's only when Ahmadinejad permits his own people to march and speak freely, that I believe Columbia President Lee Bollinger would be justified in giving the Iranian president an open forum.
Not before then.

retire05: Exactly. Where is Homeland Security?? How could this be happening? Please write to Homeland security Departmetn and demand an investigation.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Iraninan regime the most active sponsor of terrorism, according to state department???
All of these supporters are potential terrorist cells who are ready to blow themselves up upon order from the Superme Leader.
Hatemonger Mahmoud Ahmadinejad landed in a hornet's nest of outrage today as Columbia University prepared to welcome him with open arms Monday.
ReplyDeleteThe Holocaust-denying Iranian tyrant jetted into New York as students, faculty and political leaders protested Columbia's decision to roll out the red carpet.
"It's a stain on the university," said sophomore Elizabeth Friess, 20. "You can't have an open debate with someone who wants to wipe out Israel. There is no reasoning with someone like that."
Emotions ran high on the Morningside Heights campus as students blew whistles to drown out a classmate who defended Ahmadinejad's right to speak.
Ahmadinejad arrived at Kennedy Airport and was whisked away to Inter-Continental's The Barclay hotel, where a dozen cars pulled up at 5:30 p.m. after cops closed off E. 49th St.
The Iranian despot will speak amid what is expected to be a massive protest Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Columbia's Alfred Lerner Hall; he'll also speak tomorrow at the UN General Assembly.
The moderator of the event, School of International and Public Affairs Acting Dean John Coatsworth, has sparked a furor by saying he would invite anyone for a little academic give-and-take.
Political leaders also weighed in on the controversy.
"This is about promoting hateful speech," Congressman Anthony Weiner (D-Brooklyn, Queens) declared.
Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama said it was wrong to invite Ahmadinejad. At the same time, Obama added: "We should never be afraid to confront the lies and rantings of dictators with the power of truth and the strength of our own values and beliefs."
Ahmadinejad has spent years calling for the destruction of Israel and denying the Holocaust took place. He embraced Ku Klux Klansman David Duke and a rogues' gallery of Jew-haters at a Holocaust denial conference in Tehran last year.
He riled up New Yorkers last week when he announced plans to visit Ground Zero but backed down when Bloomberg and Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly vetoed the trip on security grounds.
Tourists and New Yorkers alike were still upset about the aborted Ground Zero visit.
"He has no business being here," said Moe Aro, 48, a waitress from Minnesota touring the site. "It's for his propaganda."

New York City will richly deserve what it will get from it's new BFF Amadinejad and his Islamofascist buddies. They will pay the price for their deal with this devil and my sympathy level for them will be nonexistent for them when they do.
ReplyDelete"Reportedly, 1500 Iranian Regime supporters were invited to the private gathering."
ReplyDeletewow! 1500 people.
