A GOP Response to the Democrat's McClellan Ad

The Democrats released this ad today with clips of the their new antiwar hero Scott McClellan:

The Republicans have not released a response yet (It might be a good idea if they did), but if they do decide to respond they should add a few clips from this video classic:

Watch the whole thing.

And, here is another clip and another one they could use.

Related... Bob Dole unloaded on Scott McClellan today:

"There are miserable creatures like you in every administration who don’t have the guts to speak up or quit if there are disagreements with the boss or colleagues."
FOX News has the full email posted from Dole to McClellan.

  1. It might be that the party remembers where it left its spine, but I don't want to be overly enthusiastic here.

You assume Republicans are paying attention. They seem to be ignoring all the major issues.

Either Scotty McC is a spineless Ahole who can't stand up to his boss for his principles or the truth; and all for his job or loyalty.
    OR...
He is a spineless Ahole who can't stand up to his editor/publisher for his principles or the truth; and all for money and fame.
    So which is it?
Either way he is a spineless Ahole.
I can't stand these "tell all books". It's sad what are country has come to- and there is the tv newspeople and commentators lapping it up because they love it or can't stand Bush (like that crazy Olbermann. He can't talk about ethics - the man doesn't have any- which is why he should get along with Scotty McC!)
    (And I am a democrat!)

  4. Imagine that, there's a George Soros connection to the little rat and his new book...

Hurray for Bob Dole! Now if more Republicans picked up this "we're not gonna take it" attitude we might just be able to save the Republic yet.

    joeyb... I vote for:
    b. He is a spineless Ahole who can't stand up to his editor/publisher for his principles or the truth; and all for money and fame.

Soros gave Scotty an offer he couldn't refuse.

Kos loved it when Hillary attacked Petraeus.

Check this out: "Thank you Hillary for calling Petraeus a liar!"

Big Lizards has a couple of interesting posts up on this with some detail that I found interesting.

For instance one of the things that upset McClellan was that Bush declassified some information for pushback against critics. The thing is it was declassified at the request of the Senate for a report they were doing on intel. And besides Bush is the president, there is a huge difference between him declassifying information and putting it out there and someone illegally leaking classified information.

Needless to say there is more on the incredibly tedious Plame/Wilson debacle that most Americans do not give a damn about anyway.

All in all from what I hear there is nothing new. There are no footnotes, no documentation, no sources. Just Scott telling his sordid little tale of betrayal.

BTW, he says that Bush made it all about wmd. That is not true and most of what Bush said about that issue had been said before by someone else. It was always about democracy, that is why they called it Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Speaking of tell all books, I went to the grocery store today and right there by the check out I saw a National Enquirer and it had this cover story about a tell all book about Oprah and her ex. The sex, the secret pregnancy, Oprah's girlfriend, her fights with Michele Obama. Sounds about par for the course for this kind of thing. Scott is in good company.

Its very difficult to spread the message when there is a Liberal Bias in Media.

Actually they are beyond simple bias. Now they lie and spread propaganda while protecting liberals.
