The leading Democratic blog celebrates the founding of the State of Israel by publishing a disgusting anti-Semitic tirade.
Charles Johnson and Right Wing News discovered this celebratory post on The Daily Kos.
Here's a sampling:
Eulogy before the Inevitability of Self-Destruction: The Decline and Death of IsraelNice.
...Before the covetous Zionist movement multiply like cancer cells, there was a degree of harmony between the Palestinian Arab and the Semite Jew of Israelite origin who share ethnic heritage in common as the descendants of Abraham. This peace and positive relationship has been rendered moot by the Zionists hell-bent on uprooting Palestine by chipping away every parcel of existing land, by force and violence, for large-scale thievery, not much different from the Spainards who subjugated the Caribbean and Mesoamerica native populations to genocide by termination, slavery and cruelty soon after the "exalted" arrival of Columbus.
...It is a matter of Israeli policy to engage in militaristic war cry of ultra-nationalistic morale, deception, cruelty, thievery, subversion, assassination, sabotage and warfare by belligerence to achieve its objectives for supreme rule.
It's just the American Left's special way of saying, "Happy Birthday Israel."

There is quite a bit of history with Israel and the Palestinians, and Israel isn't exactly smelling of roses.

ReplyDeleteyes, there is quite a bit of history, and it sounds like you don't know any of it. Start with the invitation/demand by the Arab states for the Pals to evacuate Israel while their victorious armies swept the Jooz into the sea. Then continue with their decades of stoking of Pal hatred and delusions of "right of return".
Joanne, you ignorant slut (h/t Saturday Night Live): How about the sweep of Islam from the Arabian Peninsula to the gates of Vienna, Andalusia, the upper half of Africa, and on to India and Indonesia? What happened to the native peoples of all those lands? I've got a clue for you -- they were either slaughtered or converted, for the most part.
ReplyDeleteIsrael has done neither of those to the Paleostinians, despite a great deal of provocation.
I suggest you would be happier with your 'history' if you just packed your bags and moved permanently to Gaza.
Funny how they are talking of Israel's extinction and destruction in the same manner and on the same day as Iran's terrorist "leader."

good observation..
we've obviously been so conditioned to the fact that the Dems & our enemies are so in sync that we hardly even notice the parallels anymore.. *sigh*

I support the right of Israel's people to live in peace, but I'm not going to put Israel on a pedestal when I know they do not belong there. There has been a lot of tit for tat going on amongst the peoples of the Middle East, and using past events to rationalize future actions towards others is not an excuse for the actions of any side. Israel had a right to defend herself against the actions of terrorists, and they should just get at 'er; the alternative is to live with an open sore that only festers more and more.
ReplyDeleteI do appreciate your ignorant comments though. Dave, I don't know what your comment has to do with Israel and the Palestinians, but it is best to stick to the topic and not go off half-baked on some rant; otherwise, you just sound like some guy who is having a bad day and taking it out on me. Thanks anyhow.
"Israel had a right to defend herself..." - should read "Israel 'has' a right to defend herself..."
ReplyDeleteIsrael acted the same as the pilgrims that exterminated the natives in North America to take their place. The natives were not flawless, neither are palestinians, but does that excuse the puritain complex of superiority that led to both their genocides? I guess if you accept the first ethnic cleansing you accept the second. I can tell this however, the 'jews of lebanon' are a group of Lebanese with a national sentiment, a website, and they identify with Lebanon, not Israel nor its apartheid against palestinians.
