Obama Supporters Protest McCain-- Interrupt Denver Speech

Obama Supporters Interrupt Senator John McCain in Denver

Today Senator John McCain spoke in Denver on the issue of nuclear security.

Within 10 minutes of the opening of his speech he was interrupted 4 different times by radical Leftists.

The protesters were supporters of Barack Obama.

Zoe Williams is Code Pink's Denver coordinator.

Code Pink members have bundled “at least $50,000” in donations for Barack Obama’s 2008 campaign.
Back Talk reported this earlier on Barack Obama's Code Pink support:

The co-founder of the radical anti-war group Code Pink has “bundled” more than $50,000 for Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign, and pro-troops groups are demanding that he return the money.

Jodie Evans, a Code Pink leader, gathered at least $50,000 from friends and associates and donated it to Obama’s presidential campaign, according to information compiled by the nonpartisan watchdog group, Public Citizen.

Evans and her son, a student who lives at her Southern California address, each also gave the maximum individual allowable donation of $2,300 to Obama’s campaign.

The donations have raised questions about Obama’s association with the more radical elements of his base. Code Pink has harassed, vandalized and impeded military recruiters across the United States in a campaign it calls “counter-recruitment.” The group also gave $600,000 to the families of Iraqi terrorists in Fallujah, whom it called “insurgents” fighting for their homes.
Another Obama supporter said she has a son in the military today(?)

Also in attendance to interrupt Senator McCain's speech was Garett Reppenhagen from the Far Left group Iraq Veterans Against the War:

Is that "Thornton resident" the same Eva Henry as the councilmember in Ward 2?

Seems to be the same. This Eva Henry does have a son in the military, with a bit of googling you can find him on armyrelated sites.

You'd think the paper would know she's a councilmember...

  4. Perhaps this is a small taste of Michelle Obama's promse that Barak will "demand that shed your cynicism....move out of your comfort zones."

  5. Maybe it's wishful thinking, but if the nitwits are losing 1.1 sane voters for every 1 that they allegedly pick up ("Wow! They're interupting McCain's speech! They're Obama people! I was on the fence before, but now I'm gonna vote with those guys!" Right. ) then maybe we should hope they keep up the good work.

Is it because we are classy, fear arrest or meek that you never see an Obama or Clinton speech interrupted in this manner.

Damn, the socialist just left Florida....

    It's about time we started....

Ooh, I hope McCain gets used to it, and uses it.

"Eva, I know I'll never win your vote, so you just go outside, and talk to everybody that will listen to you, and let me talk to these people who came to hear what I have to say."

  9. juandos,

Then they would bring up all that "McCain has an anger management problem" shite they tried pedaling a couple of months ago.

The best thing for McCain to do is to let them rant on so all may see just how crazy the Obamaniacs are. Just remember that the whackjob left has pulling this shite in one form or another for the past 7 years and it hasn't worked for them-from the Code Pinkos acting like children in Congress to their "peace marches" that have attracted more counter protesters in many situations. The only ones who want to "recreate '68" are them, the rest of us just wish they would grow up and shut up.

Come on guys. These are not petulant mushbrains, they are passionate dissenters.

After all, they have been educated.

All post Vietnam conflicts or wars are in fact equivalent to Vietnam.

And we know what to do about Vietnam's don't we.

And by the way, hippies didn't really smell bad.

McCain had an excellent response, measured and to the point for the far left cloners of 60s communist inspired protest marchers of baby boomers.

He laughed at them. And he pointed out he would never surrender in Iraq - which is exactly what Obama's marching orders are for our military and America in Iraq - SURRENDER.

    The crowd cheered him!

Come on all you Obama Maniacs!
Keep flowing in with your hatred
Rant and gripe, whine and jeer!
A vodka toast by your comrades with rounds of cheer.

Because its a hard, hard, oh yes its a hard rain going to fall...

Oh where have you been my brown eyed son.
Where have you been my darling young one.
I've stumbled on the side of twelve Stalin mountains
I've walked and I've crawled on Marxist crooked highways
I've stepped in the middle of Lenin Red forests
I've been out in front of a dozen dead chernobyls
I've been ten thousand miles in the Gulags of a graveyard
    And it's a hard, it's a hard, and it's a hard, and it's a hard
    It's a hard rain's a-gonna fall

And its going to fall on thee.

    Red, red, rain.

Where have you been my brown-eyed son. Oh where have you been my mentored commie young one?

I've been to Kenya to meet with Odinga
I've been to Pakistan to meet with the Taliban
I've been to meetings with Hamas in Chi-town
I've been on the board with faded old Commie clowns
I've been 20 years in the pit of hatred
And I said nothing there while truth lied down.
I've been taught lies about my ancestors and country
I've been groomed to hate America and all that it stands for
And I'm the manchurian candidate that all communist hope for

Oh yes its a hard, hard... hard, its a hard rain, and a hard red rain, gonna fall

With all due respect to Mr. Zimmerman, may G_d Bless.

I was one of the protesters. I don't like Obama anymore then I McCain. I want to stop both of the candidates from bullshitting there way through the election.

Just because someone thinks Republicans are corporate assholes doesn't mean them like the spineless democrats.

We're not all tweedle dee or tweedle dum.

yet you didn't interrupt Obama; is this because many of his speeches are by invitation only, or because it would be far less popular among your peers? it sorta does sound like tweedle dee and tweedle dum. incidentally, I truly am undecided, sometimes a person just has to call it as one sees it, regardless of the direction of the bandwagon.
