UN Will Investigate US on Racism Charges This Month

The international organization that elected Libya the chair and Cuba the vice-chair of their racism conference is sending an investigator to the US to conduct a probe on racism this month.

The UN will investigate the US on racism charges this month.

The US is concerned that racism may have forced its way into the presidential race.
Reuters reported:

A special U.N. human rights investigator will visit the United States this month to probe racism, an issue that has forced its way into the race to secure the Democratic Party's presidential nomination.

The United Nations said Doudou Diene would meet federal and local officials, as well as lawmakers and judicial authorities during the May 19-June 6 visit.

"The special rapporteur will...gather first-hand information on issues related to racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance," a U.N. statement said on Friday.

His three-week visit, at U.S. government invitation, will cover eight cities -- Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Omaha, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Race has become a central issue in the U.S. election cycle because Sen. Barack Obama, the frontrunner in the battle for the Democratic nomination battle, stands to become the country's first African American president.

His campaign has increased turnout among black voters but has also turned off some white voters in a country with a history of slavery and racial segregation.

Diene, a Senegalese lawyer who has served in the independent post since 2002, will report his findings to the U.N. Human Rights Council next year.
Doudou Diene should start his UN investigation on racism here at this church:

Doudou Diène denounced Denmark for racism—for publishing the dreaded cartoons of Mohammed.

I'm glad that Obama has already indicated his willingness to subjegate US soverignty to UN dictates in his Global Poverty Eradication Act. If he is elected expect more of the same intervention into our domestic affairs, and our foreign aid being subject to UN quotas. God help this nation if he is elected.

I am so angry at what the democrats are doing to this nation, especially regarding race. Again,as they have done so many times in the past, they are hurting the ones they claim to "help" (read "use").

"...Washington D.C., New York, Chicago, Omaha, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Miami and San Juan, Puerto Rico."

Interesting itinerary for our intrepid UN investigator. Something tells me this overpaid, overcredentialed twinkie will be doing a lot of "investigating" in expensive restaurants, on golf courses, and around hotel pools. Omaha may be a bitch, but, hey, I suspect he'll just do an overnighter there.

  4. Yeah I doubt the investigation will include Jeremiah Wright or any like him.

Clearly priorities mean nothing to the United Nations, who don't mind coddling third world despots, drawing moral equivelance between terrorism and legitimate military action, and standing by while millions are slaughtered in genocides, just so long as they investigate Amerika for their racist tendencies!

It's good this idiocy is on public display for the simple matter that it discredits the leftist politicians who want to wrap their foreign policy in the flag of the UN.

For example, Senator Kerry proclaiming U.S. troops should only be deployed at the directive of the U.N. or Howard Dean's announcement he would've gone into Iraq if the U.S. had the U.N.'s "permission."

  6. Doudou Diene will be looking into the antics of Louis Farrakhan, right?

I mean how else can these verbal jewels by Farrakhan be anything else but an expression of racism?

Maybe Doudou Diene will have time to look into the racist stance of Chicago Sun-Times columnist Mary Mitchell also...

I was quite heartened when the UN investigated Mugabo for taking farms away from white citizens and giving them to his cronies thereby starving the whole region. Such a fine upstanding organization. Never mind their forces raping the people they are supposed to protect, Nevermind their forces sitting on the borders with Israel and Lebanon drinking tea with Hezbollah. Never mind their aid goods sitting on the wharfs rotting. Never mind tgeur satubg they need more money when they were sitting on billions. Never mind the oil for food scandal which is NOT in the news. I am really sick of third nations people being secretary general of the UN. But I am really sick of the UN itself. A waste of real estate and money. We are paying them to trash us.

  9. I was only able to find a mention of this on the U.N. website in the Daily Press Briefing by the Office of the Spokesperson for the Secretary-General. There does not appear to have been any formal announcement. I'm particularly interested in learning which branch of the U.S. Government invited the UNHRC to the U.S. in the first place - does anyone have any more specific and definitive information on this?

You bunch of stupid ass Americans need to stop. You take your stink ass military to other countries all of the time in the name of "liberation" and you have never liberated your own damn country. Blacks are racist? Yes,and I wonder why. Was it because white people are so peaceful and innocent? Black people aren't angry over slavery, that is your own white guilt. They are angry of the media perceptions, civil rights backlash in the work place and nasty attitudes of whites they come into contact in mainstream society. Most of you people haven't been model citizens. Blacks were still being lynched as a national past time until the late sixties. Not to mention, your stupidity and lack of education which causes some of your people to lean out of windows on college campuses and yell the word nigger out of car windows, and harassing the blacks you come into contact with on the job because you think they may have been hired as a result of affirmative action. Forget about the white privilege that allows you to be in that same job unquestioned with probably more pay. Then the internet arrives and every time there is a photo of a black person regardless of the circumstances, there are a hundred racist remarks in the comments section. Then your so called divide and conquer attitudes, "Asian's are the model minorities, Arab's were your honorary whites and now you attempt to groom hispanics. Well guess what, They don't care for whites either. NO One cares for white Americans because you are ignorant, stupid, prejudiced and ethnocentric. I am so glad that all of that trash left our shores of Europe and went to America. It is just unfortunate that their descendants have caused so many problems throughout the world. Oh and by the way, for those of you who want to use the, "we rescued you from Hitler" argument. You have nothing to be proud of because while you came here, the klu klux klan was the terrorist group you allowed to exterminate the blacks in your own country while you were over here.
