CHANGE-- Obama Plays Pretend At AIPAC Today

Barack Obama attended a church for 20 years that supported Hamas and attacked Jews.
Today Barack Obama spoke at AIPAC.

Barack Obama pretended to have a strong record of support for Israel.
...AIPAC members pretended to believe him.

NPR posted his speech to AIPAC from earlier today.
Here are a few clips from this outrageous politician's outrageous speech:

...There are those who would continue and intensify this failed status quo, ignoring eight years of accumulated evidence that our foreign policy is dangerously flawed. And then there are those who would lay all of the problems of the Middle East at the doorstep of Israel and its supporters, as if the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the root of all trouble in the region. These voices blame the Middle East's only democracy for the region's extremism. They offer the false promise that abandoning a stalwart ally is somehow the path to strength. It is not, it never has been, and it never will be.
But when Barack Obama was asked last month about Israel's drag on America, he replied, "...I think is that this constant wound, that this constant sore, does infect all of our foreign policy."

More Obama at AIPAC:

That starts with ensuring Israel's qualitative military advantage. I will ensure that Israel can defend itself from any threat — from Gaza to Tehran. Defense cooperation between the United States and Israel is a model of success, and must be deepened. As president, I will implement a Memorandum of Understanding that provides $30 billion in assistance to Israel over the next decade — investments to Israel's security that will not be tied to any other nation. First, we must approve the foreign aid request for 2009. Going forward, we can enhance our cooperation on missile defense. We should export military equipment to our ally Israel under the same guidelines as NATO. And I will always stand up for Israel's right to defend itself in the United Nations and around the world.
Obama opposed missile defense.

More Obama at AIPAC:

...There is no room at the negotiating table for terrorist organizations. That is why I opposed holding elections in 2006 with Hamas on the ballot. The Israelis and the Palestinian Authority warned us at the time against holding these elections. But this administration pressed ahead, and the result is a Gaza controlled by Hamas, with rockets raining down on Israel.
Hamas controls Gaza because Israel withdrew from the strip not because of democratic elections.

More Obama at AIPAC:

...The threats to Israel start close to home, but they don't end there. Syria continues its support for terror and meddling in Lebanon. And Syria has taken dangerous steps in pursuit of weapons of mass destruction, which is why Israeli action was justified to end that threat.
Obama questioned Israel's bombing of the Syrian nuclear plant last year.

More Obama at AIPAC:

...The danger from Iran is grave, it is real, and my goal will be to eliminate this threat.
Barack Obama told a crowd of 75,000 last month that Iran is not a threat.

More Obama at AIPAC:

When I opposed the war, I warned that it would fan the flames of extremism in the Middle East. That is precisely what happened in Iran — the hard-liners tightened their grip, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was elected president in 2005. And the United States and Israel are less secure.
There is no proof that Ahmadinejad was elected because of the Iraq War. Unfortunately, Iran has its own ambitions independent of the US. Ahmadinejad and the other Iranian leaders are all Israel haters.

More Obama at AIPAC:

Sen. McCain offers a false choice: stay the course in Iraq, or cede the region to Iran. I reject this logic because there is a better way. Keeping all of our troops tied down indefinitely in Iraq is not the way to weaken Iran — it is precisely what has strengthened it. It is a policy for staying, not a plan for victory.
Obama was for surrender in Iraq even if it resulted in genocide.

More Obama at AIPAC:

Only recently have some come to think that diplomacy by definition cannot be tough. They forget the example of Truman, and Kennedy and Reagan. These presidents understood that diplomacy backed by real leverage was a fundamental tool of statecraft. And it is time to once again make American diplomacy a tool to succeed, not just a means of containing failure.
Kennedy's meeting with Khrushchev was a complete disaster. The Berlin Wall was erected 39 days after the meetings.

More Obama at AIPAC:

If Iran fails to change course when presented with this choice by the United States, it will be clear — to the people of Iran, and to the world — that the Iranian regime is the author of its own isolation...
Iran is already withholding key information .

More Obama at AIPAC:

Their legacy is our inheritance. We must not allow the relationship between Jews and African Americans to suffer. This is a bond that must be strengthened.
Obama has a career record of aligning himself with positions embraced by the Israeli peace camp and its American supporters.

If there is any doubt on Obama's pro-Palestinian background, this video from yesterday ought to end that discussion:

  4. Obama cannot keep his lies straight, because he doesn't believe any of them himself in the first place. It is hard to believe that someone can continually change their stance on issues without realizing people will notice.

    re: [as if the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the root of all trouble in the region]

    it's not??

    pray tell US Obama, what is??

    just don't let TMB know, they might feel slightly slighted..

    excerpt:

    [Rather than focusing on terrorism as the sole method of group action, as is the case with Al-Qaeda, in perfect postmodern fashion the use of terror falls into a multiplicity of options available to progressively infiltrate, confront, and eventually establish Islamic domination over the West. The following tactics and techniques are among the many recommendations made in The Project:

    * Networking and coordinating actions between likeminded Islamist organizations;
    * Avoiding open alliances with known terrorist organizations and individuals to maintain the appearance of “moderation”;
    * Infiltrating and taking over existing Muslim organizations to realign them towards the Muslim Brotherhood’s collective goals;
    * Using deception to mask the intended goals of Islamist actions, as long as it doesn’t conflict with shari’a law;
    * Avoiding social conflicts with Westerners locally, nationally or globally, that might damage the long-term ability to expand the Islamist powerbase in the West or provoke a lash back against Muslims;
    * Establishing financial networks to fund the work of conversion of the West, including the support of full-time administrators and workers;
    * Conducting surveillance, obtaining data, and establishing collection and data storage capabilities;
    * Putting into place a watchdog system for monitoring Western media to warn Muslims of “international plots fomented against them”;
    * Cultivating an Islamist intellectual community, including the establishment of think-tanks and advocacy groups, and publishing “academic” studies, to legitimize Islamist positions and to chronicle the history of Islamist movements;
    * Developing a comprehensive 100-year plan to advance Islamist ideology throughout the world;
    * Balancing international objectives with local flexibility;
    * Building extensive social networks of schools, hospitals and charitable organizations dedicated to Islamist ideals so that contact with the movement for Muslims in the West is constant;
    * Involving ideologically committed Muslims in democratically-elected institutions on all levels in the West, including government, NGOs, private organizations and labor unions;
    * Instrumentally using existing Western institutions until they can be converted and put into service of Islam;
    * Drafting Islamic constitutions, laws and policies for eventual implementation;
    * Avoiding conflict within the Islamist movements on all levels, including the development of processes for conflict resolution;
    * Instituting alliances with Western “progressive” organizations that share similar goals;
    * Creating autonomous “security forces” to protect Muslims in the West;
    * Inflaming violence and keeping Muslims living in the West “in a jihad frame of mind”;
    * Supporting jihad movements across the Muslim world through preaching, propaganda, personnel, funding, and technical and operational support;
    * Making the Palestinian cause a global wedge issue for Muslims;
    * Adopting the total liberation of Palestine from Israel and the creation of an Islamic state as a keystone in the plan for global Islamic domination;
    * Instigating a constant campaign to incite hatred by Muslims against Jews and rejecting any discussions of conciliation or coexistence with them;
    * Actively creating jihad terror cells within Palestine;
    * Linking the terrorist activities in Palestine with the global terror movement;
    * Collecting sufficient funds to indefinitely perpetuate and support jihad around the world;]

    go figure, and all this time we though is was the cause.. TELL US OBAMA, JUST HOW STUPID ARE WE HUH??

    re: bg @ 2:24 PM..

    pardon typo's.. "thought it"

    so, the Israeli Palestinian conflict is not the cause..

    The Muslim Brotherhood Project

    excerpt:

    [In the name of Allah, the Beneficent and Merciful

    1/12/1982 [December 1, 1982

    ...

    Point of Departure 11: To adopt the Palestinian cause as part of a worldwide Islamic plan, with the policy plan and by means of jihad, since it acts as the keystone of the renaissance of the Arab world today.

    ...

    THE ELEVENTH POINT OF DEPARTURE

    To adopt the Palestinian cause as part of a worldwide Islamic plan, with the policy plan and by means of jihad, since it acts as the keystone of the renaissance of the Arab world today.

    a-Elements:

    To provide an Islamic view on all areas, problems and solutions relative to the Palestinian question, based on the precepts of Islam.

    To prepare the community of believers for jihad for the liberation of Palestine. [One can lead the Ummah to realize the plans of the Islamic movement above all if victory is ours], if God wills it.

    To create a modest nucleus of jihad in Palestine, and to nourish it in order to maintain the flame that will light the road toward the liberation of Palestine, and in order that the Palestinian cause will endure until the moment of liberation.

    b-Procedures:

    To collect sufficient funds for the perpetuation of jihad.

    To conduct a study of the situation of Muslims and the enemy in occupied Palestine.

    c-Suggested Missions:

    To conduct studies on the Jews, enemies of Muslims, and on the oppression inflicted by these enemies on our brothers in occupied Palestine, in addition to preaching and publications.

    To fight against the sentiment of capitulation among the Ummah, to refuse defeatist solutions, and to show that conciliation with the Jews will undermine our Movement and its history.

    To conduct comparative studies on the Crusades and Israel, and [the victory that will be that of Islam].

    To create jihadi cells in Palestine, and support them in order that they cover all of occupied Palestine.

    To create a link between the moujahadin in Palestine and those throughout the Islamic world.

    To nourish a sentiment of rancor with respect to the Jews and refuse all coexistence.]

    okay then what may be the cause for the TMB plans to conquer the West from w/in, which is obviously succeeding beyond their imagination.. but then again, they have been working on the project since 1982, so they do have over a couple of decades head start on US, but i digress..

    unfortunately, i think it may be way too late for US to WAKE UP.. and if Obama wins the election, things will only CHANGE faster for TMB than they would ever dare to HOPE..

    heaven have mercy on my grandkids & their kids & most especially their grandkids.. *sigh*

    what did Obama know & when did he know it..

    excerpt:

    [Ten years after first stepping foot in Wright's church, in October 1995 Obama accompanied Wright to Farrakhan's "Million Man March."

    The following year, in January 1996, Farrakhan returned from another trip to Libya. It was the same month in which Barack Obama became an Illinois State Senator. By then, Obama had been attending Rev. Wright's church for ten years, the latter five as a committed member.]

    NYT January 27, 1996 excerpt:

    [Louis Farrakhan, head of the Nation of Islam, visited Libya this week to meet Col. Muammar el - Qaddafi and discussed how to "unify, mobilize and organize" American Muslims for elections in the United States this year.

    Colonel Qaddafi, the Libyan leader, quoted by the state press agency, said: "Our confrontation with America used to be like confronting a fortress from outside. Today we have found an opening to enter the fortress and to confront it from within."]

  10. Hmmm, so all that noise at AIPAC by the Boy Blunder means what exactly?

    Then again maybe, just maybe there are more potential problems for him:

    The libs don't CARE about Obama's lies or contradictions. They don't care about his shady dealings and associations....just like they didn't care about Bill Clinton's when he ran for President. All the damning info is and was out there, but they those to ignore it. It's only NOW, they are condemning Clinton for the roque he always was. Once again, they will have buyers remorse, when it's too late to spare the nation. Dems are always a day late and a dollar short. And always at our expense.

    Obama's speech made several mistakes, both in what was said and in what was not said. It was a huge error--not of truth, but of tactics--to say that Jerusalem be undivided and the capital of Israel. Good luck to him with diplomacy now.

    "Second look Hillary 2008"? Or Hillary for VP, same thing? Seriously, Obama with one sentence just set back diplomacy possibilities to a possibly irreversible point. Probably will even affect relationships now before the election , as those in the ummah holding out for an Obama possibility might say screw it and start changing their course, for the worse.

    Cindy @ 5:07 PM..

    yes Cindy, i/we know Political Islam is "civilizations" #1 enemy..

    however, i'm certain the ME doesn't see it that way.. hence, Israel is both the the tool and the excuse they use to keep their sheeple in a jihad mood so to speak.. not to mention keeping the world focused on Israel and off of what they're up to (sort of like Obama's don't look here, look over there as he goes about his mission)..

    and i'd still like to hear Obama's answer (not that he's ever answered a question w/o delving into some long lost irrelevant aspect of his personal life's journey or pointing his finger elsewhere)..

    if Americans & the West in general haven't gotten a clue as to what the threat we face is all about, i'm afraid they never will..

    and we will reap what we sow for our mass denial.. because they have clearly alerted us all as to what their intention is ad nauseum..

    you've got it backwards.. we slept for over a decade as it is.. unless you prefer going quietly in the middle of the night.. perhaps you could try using the lost art of common sense.. do you really believe the enemy will stop aiming to conquer the 4 corners of the Earth if we lie down & go back to sleep?? guess you don't know how they view the "kumbaya" clowns.. don't be an intimidated dhimmi, they hate them the most!!

    it's faux, well, more like taqiyyah speak..

    Did Hamas 'un-endorse' Obama?

    ["But the Hamas spokesman, Sami Abu Zuhri, clarified to WND today he was only reacting to pro-Israel remarks Obama's made to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee in which the senator stated he would ensure Israel's 'qualitative military advantage' in the Middle East," Klein wrote.]

    Obama Flip-Flops On ‘United Jerusalem’ Vow

    [Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama did not rule out Palestinian sovereignty over parts of Jerusalem when he called for Israel’s capital to remain “undivided,” his campaign told The Jerusalem Post Thursday.

    “Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided,” Obama declared Wednesday, to rousing applause from the 7,000-plus attendees at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee policy conference.

    But a campaign adviser clarified Thursday that Obama believes “Jerusalem is a final status issue, which means it has to be negotiated between the two parties” as part of “an agreement that they both can live with.”

    “Two principles should apply to any outcome,” which the adviser gave as: “Jerusalem remains Israel’s capital and it’s not going to be divided by barbed wire and checkpoints as it was in 1948-1967.”

    He refused, however, to rule out other configurations, such as the city also serving as the capital of a Palestinian state or Palestinian sovereignty over Arab neighborhoods.

    “Beyond those principles, all other aspects are for the two parties to agree at final status negotiations,” the Obama adviser said.]

    let me try & boil it down..

    Mr. "i walk on water" Obama says what Israel wants to hear outside one side of his mouth, and what the Palestinians et al want to hear out the other for political expediency.. fact is: the status quo shall remain unless the political winds shift in an ugly direction, at which time he will stand with the Muslims..
