Dem Operative Beckel Calls Conservative Bloggers "Crackers"

Democratic operative Bob Beckel called bloggers "crackers" on the FOX News Strategy Room.
He was ranting about conservative bloggers repeating the rumor about the Michelle Obama "whitey" tape-- a rumor that he started.
Unreal.

Charles Johnson caught it- Lizardoid posted it:

I know you're shocked to see this racist hatred coming from the Left.
Keep it classy democrats.

Back on June 3, 2008 Bob Beckel told the FOX News audience that a big shoe was about to drop and that it had something to do with Michelle Obama (the dreaded "whitey" tape).
The blogosphere went wild over this rumor he started.

Today Beckel said that whoever started that rumor should be banned from television:
(19 seconds)

Bob Beckel:

Any legitimate reporter who legitimizes this by asking questions who can't- have any evidence to back it up ought to "shut up!"
Agreed.

Michelle Malkin says it is time to fight old media smears.

UPDATE: The gay sex rumor is back in the news.

  1. This is not the first time Beckel has made the "cracker" statement.

When Tennessee GOP came out with an ad about a TN candidate backing Obama, Beckel about lost it on Fox. He said that the Tennessee GOPers were "racist crackers".

I emailed Fox a number of times about this and have never had a reply. How they can let this man continue on Fox when he slanders white Americans like he does (being the Northern elitist he is) is beyond me.

Everyone of your readers should email Fox and demand that Beckel be required to apologize for his "crackers" remarks, made not just once but now, twice, or not be allowed on Fox again.

Beckel has the appearance of a weary, thuggish Trade Union Mouthpiece.

  4. Beckel is a former alcoholic who ran the Mondale campaign. We all know how well that worked out.

I just emailed Fox AGAIN. I will no longer watch anything but Cavuto and Laura Ingram.

Email Fox. Without viewers, their ratings will drop and then they will drop Beckel. But now, they give him so much time I keep waiting for the Beckel/Rivera Show.

Maybe Fox is gearing up for the Fairness Doctrine.

What is it about Democrats that they think videotape doesn't apply to them?
I saw him with my own eyes talking about this rumor two weeks ago but today his hands are remarkably clean somehow.

Democrats somehow think that the past is some unaccessible dimension that no one but they have access to.

  7. Unbelievable!! Sean Hannity kept saying that it sounded like something the Clintons planted and it was the MSM and those like Beckel that kept repeating that they thought it had merit.

NOW, Beckel has the audacity to say this when as you point out, he was the first to drop the rumor??? I agree he should be off Tv for good. That will probably happen when Alec Baldwin and all the other liberals make good on their threats to leave the U.S.

If that guy was any pastier and more of a "cracker" he'd go to sleep at night in a plastic sleeve next to the rest of the saltines in the box. And, he has orange hair. I think he's on Fox just so we can poke fun as him.

It is a shame that terms such as cracker and redneck are now used to demean anyone who disagrees with a Democrat. The terms were once applied to those who worked the fields or drove wagons - maybe not "sophisticated" elites, but poor farmers who worked and worked hard. Now its a slur - work is something an elite Dem like Beckel doesn't comprehend.
The Dem operatives are positioning so that any question their messiah can't answer is racists and an attack by crackers. Enough of the demeaning of those who value freedom, religion and oppose those who cause them harm!!

Sideshow Bob Beckel and his problem filling the big shoes that he dropped on his own toes! What an oaf! Beckel should have taken lessons from Bart Simpson's harrassing messages to Moe. As Beckel goes, he's enough to make Bart Simpson laugh alongside Nelson Muntz, Beckel failing in his lame attempt to impersonate the sinister web of polished deceit that Sideshow Bob weaves. But even Sideshow Bob is unnerved by the likes of Bart Simpson. The DNC will find that even crude and uneducated little twerps see through the likes of Obama.

The "It takes one to know one" adage applies to those bantering ugly names. Blacks repeatedly call each other "n*gger" in every day conversation and pop culture recordings. Democrats, themselves the party of the family homestead farmers and share croppers ONCE UPON A TIME having sold out to big business and moved to the city for white collar jobs since handing blue collar skilled labor to illegal aliens, now these smug college educated pencil pushing ivy league misbegotten b*stard jackasses have the nerve to call those who still actually work for a living the very names that non-whites called their grandparents: "whitey, cracker, gringo", names for their elders ignorant enough to believe in the Democrat Party fading fast into the sunset. Change We Can Believe In = bury them alive and deny the past via revision.

  13. "Any legitimate reporter who legitimizes this by asking questions who can't- have any evidence to back it up ought to "shut up!""

People ask questions without having any evidence all the time - just look at how many prisoners in American jails are serving sentences of which they have no guilt.

Not that this is right, of course, but I think the questioning has more to do with Obama and his wife's behaviour being put into question and that is enough to send any Obama devotee into a frenzy.

If liberal bloggers were repeating a rumour about Cindy McCain, democrats would have a field day with it and would consider the tactics legitimate.
