In this video perky Michelle Obama admitted it was "the first time she was proud of her country" twice in the same day while campaigning for her husband:
The media comes to gloomy Michelle Obama's defense today and slams conservatives for pointing out her outrageous comments.
ABC News reported:
Like Eleanor Roosevelt and Hillary Clinton before her, Michelle Obama is becoming the would-be first lady conservatives love to hate. Here is a list of videos to help ABC viewers learn more about the Obamas:
The conservative National Review recently showed a stern-faced Michelle Obama on its cover, under the headline, "Mrs. Grievance." The Tennessee Republican Party questioned her patriotism.
Michelle Obama has become a favorite target for critics, drawing many to compare her arrival on the national stage to Hillary Clinton's after she infuriated conservatives when she said, "I could have stayed home and baked cookies."
It's likely to get worse.
"It's going to be very ugly stuff," Democratic strategist Tad Devine said. "They're going to try to depict her as someone who is angry, outside the mainstream and not proud to be an American."
How did a 44-year-old Harvard Law School graduate become so demonized? One reason is the increasingly viral quality of the Internet.
"In an environment now that is increasingly polarizing and nasty, charges can be made, often unsubstantiated charges through the Web," said Stuart Rothenberg, editor of the Rothenberg Political Report. "We're in an environment now where being a first lady is a lot tougher job than it used to be."
Google "Michelle Obama" and the term "whitey" and you'll find conservative bloggers (and others) claiming a video shows her using the racially tinged term at Trinity Church. No tape has ever surfaced. But the claim helped prompt the Obama campaign to launch its own Web site, FighttheSmears.com.
Much of the criticism stems from Michelle Obama's artless statement early in the campaign that, "For the first time in my adult lifetime I'm really proud of my country."
The campaign immediately clarified that to say that she meant she was prouder than ever.
It must be nice to be a Democrat.
Even with help from the media, Michelle Obama may want to keep clear from any bus stops just to be on the safe side.

M.O. was well into her adult life before she ate the first bite of food not 'given' her by the taxpayers. Who do you know that was provided a college education, with a law degree, on the government dole and waited until they were millionaire's and running for POTUS before paying back a penny of the few thousand dollars in student loans? Not many people who are proud of their country would do that, and no one I've ever met that was proud of, or had pride in, ones self would do it. She is summed up with one word, Sleezebag.

That's odd. It's not what her brother indicated in his childhood stories about Michelle?
ReplyDeleteUh, I missed the part of history where conservatives hated Eleanor Roosevelt. She was one of the most loved and popular first ladies of all time by people on all sides of the aisle. Throwing her in the mix with Hillary and Michelle Obama is inaccurate and just wrong.

Q: who will Obama blame for this??
America's race and class problems are intertwined Whether because of New York's density or because of its scale, it was only [there] that I began to grasp the almost mathematical precision with which America's race and class problems joined; the bile that flowed freely not just out on the streets but in the stalls of Columbia's bathrooms as well, where, no matter how many times the administration tried to paint them over, the walls remained scratched with blunt correspondence between niggers and kikes. by Barack Obama
A: why niggers & kikes of course, gah!!
