ReplyDeleteI trust Geraldo like I trust a rattle snake. He trades in viscious gossip and sensationalizes every non-story. This is his lifelong moniker. And most of the time his ground breaking gossipy news style is as empty as Al Capone's vault he opened years ago. One of the most memorable moments of live TV build-ups in history. A momentous failure of live tv.
There is no reason Geraldo should bring this on unless he has real evidence. Gossiping about it is tabloid journalism. Geraldo is doing this like the cheap, dirty trick used auto salesman he is. It doesn't matter if it is true or not. He splashes it before anyone knows across the screen in big Hollwood lights.
If it turns out to be true about Michelle Obama, then it is a terrible aspect of their lives, but not an unexpected indictment of the church they attended for 20 years. While it would not be surprising I think Fox lowers its IQ and credibility every single time Geraldo "I'll spit in your face" Rivera speaks on their network.
Why he still has a job is beyond jounrnalistic credibility. He chews upon pond scum to flesh stories out. He constantly allows far left liberal nuts like Rubin from WaPo to attack McCain with lies on his show without challenging their false accusations.
Geraldo is to journalism what radiation is to mutations. He breaks down every subject matter, news item, every show into monster mutations of malformed and missing information. You never get the full truth with him and often it is nothing but sensationalist tabloid fodder.
Whatever good deeds he does in supporting our troops(besides giving away their locations and being thrown out of Iraq) he is a buffon. However laudible some of his actions he is continually wrecking stories and FOX by his pubescent teen-like girly gossip of all things dirty and seedy in America without any reference frame to morals or truth.
There is no low that Geraldo does not seek out to climb under. I'm disgusted they allow him to continue on Fox. He has zero integrity.
The RNC would do well to distance themselves immediately from this subject matter. To get drawn into Geraldo gossip is to be in bed with a slime oozing snail. I'd be very careful of anything that comes up on Geraldo's shows. Whether he agrees or disagrees it is all a circus magic act for Geraldo and truth always pays the price.
RNC beware and I think McCain should quickly distant himself from it. If in fact someon has the tape, it'll come out sooner or later.
Stone just said he "believed" the network has it. Maybe Larry Sinclair has it.

Now one of their members decided two years ago to run for President. He's one of their cherished, famous members, right?
So explain to me why all these videos weren't, a long time ago, vetted and destroyed?

I've been reading on some blogs (and yes, I do read the left wing blogs that I can stomach) that there is a tape of Michelle Obama railing on "whitey" that will surface before the DNC convention.

If it does exist, and it is released before the DNC convention, then you can bet the Hillary dogs have been doing their work digging in Obama's trash can.

As for vetting and destroying any such tape, until recently all of the tapes were evidently for sale. I'd be very surprised if some reasonably smart Chicago pol hadn't bought up a copy of every available tape from that church just because Obama attended there, and "you never know" what might one day be useful.

There is no tape. Guaranteed. I remember a similar rumor in 1988. Someone in the Bush campaign (where I was a lowly volunteer) swore to me that there was a tape of Kitty Dukakis burning an American flag in '68. It didn't pass the smell test, and neither does this.

I sidetracked this issue with Geraldo. Sorry bout that. I am personally not happy with some of the direction on Fox lately. They are the only main TV outlet for conservative views. But Murdoch allows Geraldo into the mix and it taints it. And recently he is quoted as saying more liberal shows might be on. Maybe he was just soothing a SanFran liberal. I wish someone would track down Murdoch for these comments.
Geraldo belongs on CNN like an actually undead version of Larry King, or MSNBC, CBS, ABC or NBC. He could write for WaPo or NYT for that matter. As their bias is no different than his if you watch and listen to him.
He said he would make bet it is not true, like all his bruhahas in the media and noticeably against Republicans. I'm praying for egg on his face.
Sitting down with the liberal WaPo schmuck, he did not challenge him once on the lies put forth against McCain last week. He just sit there and allowed the guy to spew forth lies.
Fox can do better.
I detest Geraldo enabling far left liberals think-speak on Fox and twisting of truths without challenging them. The SanFran WSJ girl should watch Geraldo. Fox already has a liberal show by the muckity muck muck Geraldo.
Geraldo burns people. Fox and O'Reilly threw Malkin under the bus for him. I'd tell Republicans or Conservatives on Fox, watch out. You cannot trust him. He's like McClellan. It is entirely all about Geraldo. Even if not about him, he manages to turn everything into a circus clown act.
Critics aside. Fox is the only valid conservative choice for news. All the other biased left media swamps coverage in America. And much like Geraldo only search for truth when it reflects badly on Conservatives. Geraldo's only exception to that is the Iraq war.
Sorry to go offtopic. Last week watching Geraldo just made me steamed that such liberal channeled production could make its way onto Fox every weekend.

There is a way to approach this subject and the RNC needs to take the high road. McCain knows this. If I were the RNC I'd not put anyone on Geraldo's show until and unless it becomes known as being true. He can stoke it all he likes, but a simple statement should suffice that the RNC hopes it not to be the case and will not say anything unless it is found to be true.
Going on Geraldo plays into his hands. He can make a fool of himself all he wants. And if he is wrong, that'll be the time to deal with him. Knowing his record of bumbling and emotional tirades, making that bet, odds just went up for the right side.

IF such a tape exists, and thats a big fat IF, I doubt it's in the possession of a Clinton operative. Such a person would have leaked the video months ago, not when Obama is ready to secure the nomination.

ReplyDeleteThis is proceeding pretty much along the lines I predicted back April.
In that post I said that this election cycle is no longer about who gets the nomination but who controls the Democratic party. It is fairly obvious in the way the Michigan and Florida delegates were handled this weekend as to who is in control and plans to keep it that way.
The one thing I had no way of predicting was the stupidity of the Obamaniacs. I thought they might have some political savvy but they are acting just like the true Marxists they are. They are now seeking to ostracize, "eliminate" and run off any and all who oppose them. The Obamaniacs made a grave mistake in treating Michigan and Florida they way they did. They essentially threw away 44 electoral votes and the general election.
Despite what many of you think the Clinton's are no fools. They know what is in Obama's steamer trunks of dirty laundry, so do the Republicans. They know that the Obamaniacs in their arrogance think Americans are stupid and will lap up the Obama-is-the-messiah propaganda campaign that the MSM is putting out. Most importantly they know that despite what Howie, Nancy and the rest of the Obamaniacs think Obama does not have the nomination locked up.
Desperate times call for desperate measures and the Clinton's are exercising the nuclear option. Some question the timing. Why do it now when it should have been done 3 months ago? What you are missing is that up to this time the Clinton's were trying to work within the party framework and they know that if they "go nuclear" it means all or nothing. It is now obvious to everyone that the fix is in.
If Obama and his wife thought they have had it "bad" so far they ain't seen nothing yet. I can almost guarantee you that by the time the convention rolls around the only people who will still think Obama can get elected to anything outside of Illinois will be the Obamaniacs.
Combine the above with a credential fight in which Obama stands to lose more delegates then Hillary does. That is unless the Obamaniacs who control the party decide to change the rules in committee. If they do that they no longer care to even pretend that the convention is an actual exercise in democracy and is little more then their version of a Nuremberg party rally. If they do this it will be all out in-your-face civil war on the convention floor. I would not be a bit surprised to see half of the delegates walk out of the convention in protest, perhaps even before the first vote is cast. If they do it will be the end of the Democratic party as a viable political entity. The split in the party will be permanent.
Now I know some of you might be wondering how any of this would help the Clinton's. I will tell you. The Obamaniac wing have are giving Bill and Hill the Joe Lieberman treatment-they are trying to run them out of the party in order to solidify their hold on the party. They have, in essence, already been run out of the party unless they can take control of it back. At this point it is now payback time for what the Obamaniacs have done to them and the paybacks are going to be a bitch. You can forget about those rumors of offering Hillary the VP slot or anything else. The only reason the Obamaniacs would offer it to her in the first place is that they need her in order to win. After the way the Clinton's have been treated by the Obamaniacs they will take that bone and toss it back in their face. The Clinton's are playing for keeps.
Remember what Paul Begula said? He said that the party can not win with a constituency of "white eggheads and blacks". He is right. The Obamaniacs are a coalition of America hating Marxists, radical leftists, black race warriors and the blacks. That will be all that is left of the Democratic party if they continue on the path they are on.
If the party splits the Clinton's will leave and take the core of the Democratic party with them and form a new party. In the end it would be a winning scenario for them and depending on how they played it would become a very powerful political entity in a very short time. The most radical parts of the Democratic party would stay there, the new party that emerges would be more "centrist" and appeal to the vast majority of the Democratic party's base and to many of the "FDR/JFK Democrats" who have been voting Republican.
If this were to occur I can see about 1/3 to 1/2 of the current Democratic congresscritters/senators leaving the Democratic party and going over to the the Clinton's "new party". That would put Nancy and Harry out of a job.
PS-In searching for my post in April I found this comment by Joshua that I hadn't seen. I will not reply at length to it here but I will say this about it.
1. I resigned from the Democratic party in 2001. Yes, unlike the vast majority, I was an actual card carrying member of the party. I have also been a sergeant-at-arms at a convention and I have worked on 3 presidential campaigns at the state level. Been there-done that. Got the T-shirts.
2. I have lived in Texas for 20 years. A state which has been dealing with illegal immigration a hell of a lot longer then most of you have even known it to be a "problem". There is no political will in either party to deal with this and there will not be unless this country is attacked again by people who illegally crossed the border.
This is like the abortion issue. The time to deal with it at a federal level has long passed because the political and legal deck is stacked against the opponents of it. The opponents allowed the deck to be stacked against them so they have no one to blame but themselves for it.
The way it will have to be dealt with is from the bottom up at the local, city and state level. Arizona is showing the country how to do it and it is working.
3. My points in the post you were replying to still stand. All the "pet issues" everyone has will mean nothing if we do not have a country anymore. An Obama presidency would make everyones pet issues seem like small potatoes because Obama in combination with a Democratic party majority in the house and senate would then proceed to rip up the Constitution and the Bill of Rights and they will install judges to back them up.
You want a glimpse into an Obama presidency? Take a look at what the Obamaniacs are doing to the Democratic party.
