Most Americans Agree Media Actively Tries to Help Obama

Most Americans believe media advocates for Obama.

Reuters provides the latest halo on the former TUCC member Barack Obama.

More and more Americans are seeing how the media continues to not only slant the news but actively try to help their favorite candidates.
Most Americans agree the media is outrageously biased for Obama.
Rasmussen and HotAir reported:

Just 17% of voters nationwide believe that most reporters try to offer unbiased coverage of election campaigns. A Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that four times as many—68%--believe most reporters try to help the candidate that they want to win.

The perception that reporters are advocates rather than observers is held by 82% of Republicans, 56% of Democrats, and 69% of voters not affiliated with either major party. The skepticism about reporters cuts across income, racial, gender, and age barriers.

  1. Are we now supposed to reel in shock? The MSM has been ignoring the shady, far left ties of Obama as hard as they can. If any Republican had the ties/associates that Obama has, they would not even be in the race.

The media wanted to report on every little tidbit that they could find when Republicans were in control. Now the write tripe.

So we are back to the 60's where a flawed Democratic candidates shady ties are going to be ignored.

  2. Let's see how long they can keep it up. Obama comes up with a new crooked friend or goofy gaffe everyday. They may choose to ignore it, but shaky credibility is going down the drain quickly! Let's pray the voters are smarter than the media think the are!

    Perhaps...

But we have something that we didn't have back in the 60's. It is a little thing called the internet.

We would have never heard about Obama and all his BFF's (until he feels the need to throw 'em under the bus) like "Rev." Wright, Bill Ayres, etc. Nor would we know about his "Bohemian Rhapsody" (any way the wind blows...) "policies".

Not only that but the fool is too freaking stupid to figure out that people can screenshot the crap he puts out on his website.

You will also note that despite the Democrats declaring we have "lost" both in Iraq and Afghanistan and openly aiding the Islamofascists it has not brought back the "glory days" of 1968.

We have another little thing that we did not have back in the 60's. It is a little thing called talk radio. When the history of this election cycle is written the one name that will stand out more then anyone (barring any "surprises") will be Rush Limbaugh.

WHERE DOES Senator Obama stands on the North American Union matter?

Following is AN OPEN LETTER TO SENATOR OBAMA. You are welcome to distribute it for the good it may bring. This N.A.U. issue is rapidly moving forward in a stealth mode and unless the American public becomes aware of the seriousness accompanying it, they will be blind sided in the years following the 2010 "lock in" target date. If you were to ASK SENATOR OBAMA to state his position on this matter, it would raise visibility about the N.A.U. issue at the citizen level - - something that has been lacking since the inception of this scheme to create a new tri-nation state.

RE: A campaign issue that could win the presidency

    Dear Senator Obama,

In your bid to be President, YOU HAVE SAID NOTHING about the North American Union (SPP.GOV). Hopefully you are aware that this is a “business deal” put into place by President Bush in concert with his close friend and confidant, former president of Mexico, Vicente Fox. It was agreed to with much less enthusiasm by former Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin, Jr.

Finalization of this clandestinely undertaken business deal was orally solidified at the Bush ranch in 2005. It was never debated before the legislature or made known to the American citizens. Subsequently, we learned of plans to construct a Super Highway project, in which thousands of privately owned acres of tax payer property will be confiscated (under the cleverly initiated Kelo vs New London Supreme Court ruling - also in 2005) through eminent domain proceedings. Private property is central to the freedom we enjoy as Americans and the North American Union - Trans Texas Corridor “NAFTA Super Highway” deal negates this fundamental and traditional American right to own, retain, safeguard and preserve property that has been in families for, in many cases, generations.

The NAU springs from a process, (quietly - indeed surreptitiously) set in motion by President Bush in 2005, with NO debate or vetting considerations by the legislature thereby completely disenfranchising the American citizens from having any knowledge of or say in the matter. It is tantamount to a virtual coup in surrendering of U.S. sovereignty to a trilateral entity that, in the form of a North American Union, could emulate the European Union that now dictates to the citizens of 27 European states.

Senator Obama, you need to bring a bright light on this matter and alert the American people of your position on preserving U.S. Sovereignty. The N.A.U. is an issue that, if actively denounced in forthcoming campaign messages, could win you the presidency. Your opponents have never brought up this vital issue - - meanwhile the Bush administration is proceeding as thought this privately crafted scheme is a “done deal”.

The American people and I will be watching, listening and waiting to see how you stand on this critical matter.

    Sincerely, Conway Chester

P.S. Congressman Ron Paul is a co-sponsor of House Concurrent Resolution 40 expressing Congressional disapproval of the NAFTA Superhighway and any moves toward a North American Union. So far, Senator Obama, you are NOT listed among the 48 who are COSPONSORS of this bill. Why not? Advocating could win the election for you! Congressman Paul has also introduced H.R. 5191, which would prohibit the use of federal funds to carry out these highway projects. This is added legislation you could back, Senator, to show your unabated support for the sovereignty, independence and freedom of America.

cc: The Honorable Ron Paul, Congressman
cc: The Honorable Virgil Goode, Jr., U.S. Representative

btw, are there any existing "corridors " that takes one from the South to the North, or do they just go East to West lol!!

ps: regardless, i think it sounds rather rational & productive myself.. therefore i must ask, if it doesn't exist, why not??

  6. bg, while you seem to think that the NAFTA super highway is just a rumor, we Texans are living with it. It is called the TransTexas Corridor and is part of the NAFTA highway. It runs from the Mexican border all the way up through Texas to Oklahoma.

My ranch land is right in the way and the government can take it through eminent domain and do not have to give me fair market value for the land. I was told at a TCC meeting with TxDot that I would "probably" get around $800-1200/acre. Current value of my land according to the tax office? $5,700/acre. There are signs on property all over my area that say "Stop The TCC".

The TCC was part of the agreement made by our former governor with Mexico and Canada. And now, Rick Perry, our current governor, is already building it. It will be eight lanes wide. But those eight lanes are only the beginning. There will be easements for light rail, railroads, underground utilities, and the state will lease the land ajoining the TCC (on the side) to gas stations, restraurants, and other businesses since they pretty much stole the land from the land owners. Ranchers will have to drive 2-5 miles to cross from one side of their ranch to the other once it is devided by the TCC.

Research the TransTexas Corridor if you think the NAFTA highway is just someone's goofy idea.

    retire05 @ 8:35 PM..

no, not really, and i don't know that much about it..

what i am saying doesn't exist are all the conspiracy theories that are circulating around it..

and as far as i know, this project more or less started long before Bush was elected, and is connected to many other projects, ie: Clinton's NAFTA / Global Crossing policies..

    thanks..

Today's Washington Post has an editorial with hard news in it.

The editor sat down and read the committe report from the US Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and found out that ALL the factual statements by George Bush about ...nukes...biological weapons...chemical weapons...WMD..ballistica missles...unmanned delivery vehicles...support for terrorists...safe haven for terrorists...contacts with Al-Qaeda

    "were substantiated by intelligence information."

"Bush Lied"? If Only it were That Simple

There is a suggestion out there (not really a plan, just a proposal to develop a plan) to put in a rail-and-highway-network in Texas that would allow inexpensive, fast access to the interior of the state.

It would be the equivalent of Erie Canal or the transcontinental railroad, for Texas. Obviously, the window of opportunity for such a major undertaking will close if it is not set into place within the next couple of decades.

I don't think it will happen. It's a terrific idea, and on the scale of Texan notions, but Texans are not big on plannig public works or zoning, generally. On the other hand, they were farsighted enough to establish the land grant college system.

    Valerie

ps. Eminent Domain law is founded on the notion that the gummint has to pay fair market value for any takings. The problem, of course, is that landowners get stars in their eyes when these discussions begin, and the price of land spirals up, up, up....
