Obama's vision for Iraq includes the brazen plan of scrapping the current Constitution (Point 2) that was already voted on and approved (78% of Iraqis voted for the Constitution) by the Iraqi people. He would then bring in the UN, the same organization that raped the Iraqi people in the Oil for Food Scandal, to draft a new document:
Call for a new Constitutional Convention in Iraq, convened with the United Nations, which would not adjourn until Iraq's leaders reach a new accord on reconciliation.And, then in Point 5 Barack would prosecute the war criminals (Americans):
Take immediate steps to confront the humanitarian disaster in Iraq, and hold accountable any perpetrators of war crimes.The Obama camp obviously believes that America is the problem. In their eyes, if America leaves the violence will end. The Far Left Obama Camp believes the Iraqis should handle things; if the country erupts into a mass slaughter of innocents, so be it.
There truly is a difference in the two major parties:
** George Bush and Republicans prosecuted the Butcher of Baghdad, Saddam Hussein, Chemical Ali and the other mass murdering Baathists.
** Meanwhile, on the Far Left, Barack Obama wants to prosecute George Bush, Dick Cheney and Karl Rove for Abu Ghraib(?) and the horrible "torture" of water-boarding(?)

That Constitution (which U.S. legal jihadist Bassiouni helped draft) does suck. Just recently on this very blog there was an article about how now in Iraq more Iraqi women, even Christian Iraqis, are terrified into wearing the hijab than before. Remember Leila and her daughter and how her husband and sons are free!

Women are holding meetings all over Iraq for the first time. Women's rights are on the agenda for the first time ever in Iraq. Women's rights did not exist under Saddam or his sons of iniquity who raped, murdered and tortured women for their pleasure.
The truth is without Bush dethroning Saddam and his perverted sons, most of the world never gave a damn about women's rights. And it was Bush that came out for women's rights in both Afghanistan and Iraq as key to liberation for these countries. What is even more frightening than the plan to punish "war criminals" is the idea of "reconciliation" between Iraq's leaders (apparently including al Sadr) and of "stabilizing" the region with Iran's and Syria's help.
ReplyDeleteDuring the recent Petraeus hearings, Obama said that the Basra surge was just an example of "Shia vs. Shia jockeying for power". Translated, this means that the Iraqi government and Iran's proxies are on the same level of legitimacy, i. e. that the Iraqis shouldn't fight Iran's proxies but rather make a power-sharing deal with them. Obama has suggested the same kind of deal for Lebanon and Kenya.
In Kenya, Obama's cousin Odinga, who had promised Kenya's leading Islamists to impose Shariah law if elected, and who lost the election, was finally sworn in as PM after riots in which his followers burned churches and killed many people.

Obama's promise to meet with the leaders of Iran and Syria has often been mentioned, but his stated reasons have seldom been discussed:
"We need to talk to Iran and Syria, because they've gonna have responsibilities if Iraq collapses. They have been acting irresponsibly up until this point, but if we tell them that we are not gonna be a permanent occupying force, we are in a position to say that they are gonna have to carry some weight in terms of stabilizing the region."
Obama's strategy:
- Make Iraq collapse
- Summon a conference with all Muslim countries in the region
- Broker a power-sharing deal between Iran, Syriah and some of the factions in Iraq, give most of Iraq to Iran and Syriah (as muslim countries, they are legitimate occupying forces! /)
- Proclaim peace in Iraq
Obama thinks the US occupation has been a human rights disaster? Maybe he wants to call in UN peacekeepers? We all know what boy scouts they are.
