Europe Again Asks Citizens to Identify Themselves By Race

The EU is working out its modern version of the Nuremberg laws.

In the last century, certain Europeans were asked to identify themselves.
(above) Sachsenhausen prisoners, wearing uniforms with triangular badges, stand in columns under the supervision of SS guards. (history place)

Today- Out of concerns about discrimination, citizens are being asked to fill out a survey asking what their race is.

    And the USA doesn't ask employees--at least federal employees--to fill out such forms, giving the same reasons (EEO, diversity-type excuses)?
