Mehr News reported:
TEHRAN, Nov. 17 (MNA) -- Top presidential advisor Mojtaba Samareh-Hashemi on Saturday confirmed that President Mahmud Ahmadinejad had sent a letter to his French counterpart Nicolas Sarkozy.AFP reported that Mahmoud's letter contained veiled threats against France.
"In his letter, Ahmadinejad touches on the history of Iran-France relations as well as the future prospect of the ties between the two countries," Samareh-Hashemi told reporters in Mehrabad International Airport on the sidelines of a ceremony to see off president who was leaving for Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Samareh-Hashemi also stressed that what the French newspaper Le Monde reported on the letter was mostly distorted.
Le Monde reported that Ahmadinejad called French President Nicolas Sarkozy "young and inexperienced" in an acrimonious and threatening letter.
...Ahmadinejad also said that a French drive for European sanctions targeting Tehran is bound to fail because neither Germany nor Italy will follow France's lead, Le Monde reported.
Who writes letters these days? Amanutjob should get with the program.
ReplyDeleteEveryone of the Mullah's news out-lets, had a least one story denying the letters contents which is really very notable. Sarko really should release Ahmad's letter but for as much as I prefer him over his predecessor - not only do I think his days are quite likely numbered - if it gets down to push-come-to-shove over Tehran, gut feeling tells Sarko he along with all of Eurabia would probably collapse.
ReplyDeleteAs such, I'm extremely doubtful Sarko will release the Little Tyrants ramblings as revealing as it very likely might prove. Damned pity.
