Tehran's Got a Crush on Obama

In 2005 Mahmoud Ahmadinejad ran his campaign with the slogan "We Can!"
In 2008 Barack Obama runs his campaign with the slogan- "Yes We Can!"

No wonder Tehran's got a major crush on Barack Obama.

The radical Islamic regime is backing "change" in Washington DC.
Iranian Fars News reported:

Iran's foreign minister said on Thursday that US voters clearly want change in their government which has pursued warmongering policies ever since ascending to power under George W. Bush.

Encountering reporters at an international conference on Iraq, Manouchehr Mottaki refused to say exactly what he thought of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's expressed willingness to consider a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Instead, Mottaki noted with satisfaction that "everybody (in the United States) is looking for changes" in Washington, where the Bush administration has worked to isolate Iran in recent years.
Earlier this year the regime in Iran was very excited to hear that Obama was willing to talk to Tehran:

The regime was also excited that Obama would put an end to the Iraq War and withdraw troops from Iraq.
Like Iran, Democratic voters want to end the war in Iraq, not win it.

No wonder Obama is the clear favorite of the regime in Iran.

    GP,

check the following link out. It is related to Obama and possible surprising support by Murdoch?

A video shows two liberals gossiping about their evening and Rupert Murdoch stating he "likes" Obama and "predicts a landslide win" by Obama over McCain. Kara, the one being interviewed is fom WSJ. Sarah is some tech investment journalist.

hattip: Atlas Shrugs who is absolutely always on the ball in catching this kind of stuff.

    Fox's Murdoch for Obama?

Ugh, read the article, watch the video!

They chatter incessantly about "change" as their mantra, mention Arianna Huffington and that Murdoch might "be open to a liberal show on Fox." Then they whine about Fox and Murdoch "fair and balanced" slogan and ask, "does he really believe that."

Evidently they have no problem with D-Olberman dog on MSNBC, or CNN lying down with Saddam, etc.

The babbling is noxious, much like The View. Everything is how one is perceived by others and what is cool with the digital in-crowd. Evidently Media Moguls are in... even if Rupert does support the Rightwingers on Fox. sigh... cooooo coooo as Kara swoons over his Reaganesque statement about Elk in Alaska, heehe, she laughs.

Kara, the San Francisco liberal, mentions she doesn't like the "degrading of culture" at Fox News. Hmmm, interesting that. I ponder to myself, "does she think oral and anal sex in front of children on Folsum Street in her town of San Francisco" is "culture?"

Because that is what Fox news exposed about her groovy cool, fast-changing town, along with Berkeley Code Pink Commies. What culture could Kara possibly be talking about?

Certainly not Mahler, Swan Lake, Pavarotti at Lincoln Center or any good artist for that matter. Maybe she doesn't like Fox News pointing out Dixie Chicks belligerant insults of our President on foreign land? Or when Fox points out Stephen King "degrading" our troops? Or Fox pointing out Hollywood loons on the left degrading our nation? Or when Fox points out the pornification of our nation from California?

Fox "degrades culture" Doh!?! She should make the patriot or pinhead segment on O'Reilly.

Who knows if these two ladies got a clue or if Rupert Murdoch was joking with them. But here is a quote of Murdoch:

"Murdoch even nonchalantly owned up to influencing the New York Post to back Obama in the New York primary."

If that is true, then this is actual news. And it would be disgusting. Maybe PJM can hop on this story with their reporters.

People I know change with the flow of tech easily as Conservatives. In fact many I know are cutting edge tecnology positions.

But changing ones moral values over time to keep up with the in-crowd "culture" of SanFran is not always advancement. Often times it is "degrading" to ones soul and virtue as a human.

If what they said about Rupert Murdoch is true, then it is a little worrisome. It will be interesting to find out, or get him on record. Someone should confront him on their statements.

Otherwise these two journalist who think they are above all us poor pagans living in caves with stone wheels like the Flinstones might think they can change Fox, or that we "sheep" will simply follow.

I know that I will not. If Fox goes the way of liberal media, I'll turn it off in a second.

  2. "....where the Bush administration has worked to isolate Iran in recent years."

Iran has isolated themselves, and many countries in the Middle East do not even like them and see them as a threat. These countries are only too happy to have America there to deal with those nutjobs. Gee, even the Irania people are happy to have America on their side; they probably look at Iraq and wonder when they will be liberated too.

Perhaps when Obama is over talking to Iranian leaders, he can watch the hanging of people who have demonstrated against the regime - good times all around.

  3. I wonder if Tehran's crush on Obama is an indicator of the coming incompetence of Obama?

good fine juandos @ 5:06 PM..

    excerpts:

[In what appears to be the biggest case of corruption in Iran, and perhaps in the Middle East, the Tehran-based Shahab News reported that the chief auditing office of the Iranian parliament (Majlis) has revealed that close to $35 billion of oil income from the financial year 2006-07 is missing.

According to Iranian law, this money should have been paid by the government of President Ahmadinejad into Iran’s central bank.]

gee, you suppose some of that 35b made it's way to Iraq, Lebanon or the Palestinian territories?? of course they'll never admit it, not that it matters these days.. i mean, Iran's constant calling for "Death to Israel"; "Death to America"; "Death to (fill in the blank)" apparently falls on deaf ears..

[The election of Larijani could pose several problems for the president. First and foremost, the relationship between the two is not good. In November 2007, he resigned from his job because of Ahmadinejad’s uncompromising attitude towards the nuclear program. This made Larijani’s efforts to find a diplomatic solution to Iran’s nuclear program more cumbersome. Eventually Larijani gave up because he could no longer work with him.]

but the Obama man says Yes He Can!

[One year is a long time in Iranian politics. One of Larijani’s weaknesses has been his lack of experience in management of domestic affairs. Unlike Ahmadinejad, he has never been mayor or governor. His new post is likely to strengthen his position domestically. If he plays his cards right and manages to convince Supreme Leader Khamenei that he would be a more suitable replacement for Ahmadinejad, then the international community may find Iran of 2009 an easier country to talk with.]

    promises, promises, promises..
