More Obama Gaffes- Including Kids Getting "Breathalyzer" Tests

Here's the latest Obama gaffe- "Give the kid a breathalyzer test."
Yuk-Yuk.
Of course, he's just short on his sleep.

And, here's another one.
Obama gets lost in thought on Iraq.
This is funny... He doesn't have a clue where he's going with this one:

He's probably just tired.

Obama's Gaffes has more.

An "inhalator" is another name for a long term respiratory machine like an iron lung:

In rare cases one might use the term "inhalator" to describe an "inhaler" which is a dispenser used by children with asthma.

Based on the standard put forth by leftwing progressives with regards to the many verbal gaffes GWB has made over eight years, one could only conclude that Senator Obama is an uneducated idiot right...?

hmm, i dunno, i really don't consider mispronunciations (which is what Bush did) as gaffe's (which is what Obama does best)..

    ie:

    misunderestimate

    vs

    57 states

but whatever, they don't hold the Obamessiah to account for anything but tingle's up their legs.. which reminds me, what was that AS line about girlie men??

"I face this challenge with profound humility, and knowledge of my own limitations. … I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal … This was the moment — this was the time — when we came together to remake this great nation … "

As Steyn said, after 232 years Obama is going to teach America to provide care for the sick. If it's such a great nation, why does he think he needs to "remake" it.

    OMG.

I heard about this. The effort to push Obama's "gaffes" is to offset McCain "senior moments."

I think, however, that most realize that lines about putting food on one's family is not what made W a terrible president.

On the Pacific Ocean. One of the better known oceans. Been around for hundreds of years. You may have heard of it.

My back porch is about ten feet above sea level. I guess I mean sea level at high tide. Because the tide change height every day by at least ten feet, from high to low tide.

As high tide approaches, we all go down to the sea to see how bad it will be this time. Then, as time passes, and the tides begin to recede, we all breath a sigh of relief and head back to work or home.

It's a constant daily struggle for survival.

I am glad caring, unthinking people are aware of our daily struggle. Cuchulain has nuttin on us coasties.

I tried putting food on my family once, but it didn't work. The butterscotch pudding got in my daughter's hair, and the hamburger wouldn't sit right on my wife's head. They got really mad.

    I don't do it anymore. It's Bush's fault.

Okay one of you video gurus need to take Hillary's "Who do you want answering the phone at 3 AM" commercial and splice in all of these comments of Obama syaing he is tired or didn't get much sleep. Maybe something like a question about Iraq from a reporter followed by Obama saying he hasn't had much sleep. After a half dozen of these type scenes end with the Hillary bit about who do you want answering the phone.
    Or is that racist?

Not only is Senator Obama tired, as he stated, but he's also totally cluelss. Someone needs to have an honest conversation with him and the folks who write his speechs about asthma, if he's going to use it as part of a stump speech for national healthcare.

If any person who suffers from asthma is having an attack and a dose of albuterol (aka the rescue inhaler) doesn't stop the attack then they go to the hospital. There is no debate about that. Not being able to breathe will kill you. Taking too much albuterol can kill you. If the attack doesn't stop with a dose of albuterol you get your butt to the hospital.

Albuterol is pretty cheap - or it used to be cheap until the environmentalists made the manufacturers change the formula to a "green" formula. Now it costs almost three times as much.

There are other medications to treat asthma - like inhaled steriods - but they are not 100% effective at stopping attacks. The risk always exists that an asthmatic can have an attack, which is whjy most asthmatics carry a rescue inhaler with them.

    What a stinking idiot.

Thoroughly disingenuous exercise in moral equivalence by the Washington Post

Altar Egos -- “Clergymen, once courted by Candidates, have become liabilities, raising questions about the role of religion in politics.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2008/06/06/AR2008060603577.html

If you confine your reading to the Washington Post, you DON”T KNOW what Rev. Wright and Trinity church have been up to for the past few decades, or just how impossible it would be for Barack Obama to miss the river of libels pouring out from the pulpits of his favorite preachers, or how close Barack Obama has been to Rev. Pfleger.

The only reason the Revs. Parsley and Hagee (McCain is not a member of either of their congregations) are mentioned in this article at all is to provide “balance” but the article does not include the distinctions between the two situations.

    This quote is particularly odious:

The Rev. John Thomas, president of the United Church of Christ, Obama's denomination, issued a statement this week agonizing over the Obamas' decision to leave Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago. "Many candidates and public officials now find it nearly impossible to be an active member of a particular religious community, given our divisive political culture."

    *****************

It is by no means impossible for a candidate to be an active member of a religious community. The problem occurs when your closest, longest-term compatriots from all walks of life are radicals, liars and criminals.

I am the mayor (R) of a small Michigan city. In all my years of public service I have made many many gaffes, both in speech making and in open council meetings. My most common refrain when realizing I am in the middle of a gaffe is to state "hang on my brain is on hold", I take a deep breath and try to regain my composure. My constituents seem to understand this and have always forgiven me.

The anti-Obama crowd should be careful what we wish for. Obamas gaffes make him appear more normal, more human. I'd much sooner we try to stop him by pointing out his associations and track record, his leftist core beliefs where he is the weakest. These I am not prepared to forgive him for.

Obama is in many ways a mediocrity. THese gaffes show the real Obama - a leftwing hack with zero accomplishments, zero new ideas, and zero depth. He's out of his league.

that recent and current GOP nominees have enfeebled communication skills only means that these gaffes will never rise to campaign debating points, GWB and McCain have their 'moments', but will be the 'canary in the coal mine' that mr 'historic victory' emperor has no clothes. He's just a trite empty suit Mocha Marxist.

Obama , is more then Idiot he is not worthly of becoming our Next President...Who is he to tell me i cant get help when my inhalor isn't working for me and im having in attack. There are most of use who have to talk inhalors twice a day and one for resuce. But, when that isnt enough we need the help of the medical profession to bring us out of in attack. He has no right to tell all of us that suffer from asthma we can not seek help to breath from the hospital. I say, lets cut his air supply off and see how he likes it when he needs more then just inhalor live. Besides that when giving his speech he was confusing the inhalor with a breath test for drunks. One thing why cant our Media show what kind of guy Obama is by showing the American public how his best friend tony resco was put in jail and had ties to Obama? Im Hillary Supporter and I will be writting Hillary in come this Nov.

I've seen many of his speeches and I don't understand why most of you think he is an "idiot" because of his public speaking. The guy even writes some of his own speeches which presidents haven't done in about forty years. Whatever his shortcomings in foreign policy and economic - he's a very good speaker.

Most of you are probably Republicans - right? Voted for Bush, right? Twice?

The mainstream media, by and large has not "picked" on Bush for his speech impediment(?). At least I haven't noticed it. Liberal writers make fun of his mispronuncing of words but I have never heard a piece from a ligitimate news source about this topic. I don't think it would go over well.

By the way, isn't Fox News the most watched news soure in the U.S.? They have Carl Rove as contributor! Tony Snow went straight from the anchor's chair to the press secretary!

You guys say the media is biased? You might be right...

You know I would love to have a conversation with Obama about Ashtma. My six year old has it and has since she was one. It is bad enough that she is on Prednisone as needed, Albuterol as needed, Singulair every day, Pulmicort twice a day, and Flovent twice a day. And that doesn't even keep her from the hospital at times. Not sure what he is talking about cause I even have to check her oxygen level when she is having these attacks. And it is not always allergies that bring it on, it could be the common cold.

For the sake of accuracy, an Obama's correction, 'inhalator', is an acceptable term for a respirator, which it seems he was referring to by the gesture he made.
