Washington state sees record cold and snow in June.
KHQ.com reported:
The Spokane area saw record low temperatures and even a little bit of snow Tuesday morning, and all just 11 days before the official start of summer.Palousitics has more photos of the record snow.
Much of the Inland Northwest remained under a snow warning from the National Weather Service Tuesday morning. KHQ received calls from people in Reardan, Moscow, Pullman, Loon Lake, Airway Heights, Deary, Spokane's South Hill, and Deer Park who all say they saw snow Tuesday morning.
...Forecasters expected 5 to 10 inches of wet snow above the 3,500-foot level Tuesday morning in the Cascades with lesser amounts down to 2,500 feet. A Transportation Department spokesman said it's been about 30 years since a snowplow has had to clear Stevens Pass in June.

Also this week, John Coleman, the founder of the Weather Channel, again lashed out at global warming religionists saying:
There is no significant man made global warming. There has not been any in the past, there is none now and there is no reason to fear any in the future.Coleman also blamed Al Gore for high energy prices.

ReplyDeleteI've hiked the Cascades in August, walking out on tops of huge glaciers... drinking the ice cold waters and eating blueberries from the valleys below.
Leftist nutroots would shoot me for eating the blueberries and ruining the mountains with my footprints.
Don't let leftist media snow-ball us. Climate temperature flatlined since 1998 and cooling in 2007, including this year.
CO2 builds trees and makes our forest lush and green. In fact in the past, our world was much greener, with more C02. Every breath we take, breathes out CO2 and the trees and plants around us take it in.
We might as well all stop breathing for the leftist to be happy. Since many of them think we're no better than lizards or bacteria to being with...

ReplyDeleteNext month, the Saudis will be pumping an extra half-a-million barrels of oil a day compared to last month, bringing total Saudi production to 9.7 million barrels a day, their highest ever level. But the world's biggest oil exporters are coupling the increase with an appeal to western Europe to cut fuel taxes to lower the price of petrol to consumers.

Try Snow In Summer. And I don't mean the low-growing silver-green ground cover. I mean 6 inches of heavy white snow on the LAST DAY OF SUMMER, Denver 1997. And all the trees still had all their foliage.
I was doing high-hurdles over broken tree limbs while listening to other trees crash about me on my pre-dawn 'constitutional' in old Cherry Hills Village.

Not so dramatic, but many areas in California had record "low" highs yesterday as well: SF Downtown hit 56 degrees as its afternoon high, and it didn't get much above 60 at my house.
